Ypykkä is a flexible concept that can adapt to an individual, a couple or a family.
In this house built by Lake Saimaa, large sliding doors open the interior towards the birch trees and the lake. Generous storage is integrated discreetly within the structure.
The atmosphere of the house changes completely when the sliding doors are opened and the summer breeze moves through the spaces. When needed, insect screens slide to provide protection.
The concept can be tailored to the needs of both the client and the site.
